Map suggestion?

Hi all, first post!

I apologise for posting this here rather than the main thread but it would not let me post there because it wouldn't allow bumping a thread >31 days old. Also I apologise in advance if this map IS in the rotation (I've never seen it played yet).

I would like to request the map "gg_churches_x_final_fixed" which is available here: http://cssgg.gamebanana.com/maps/24557 - it is similar to trs_aim_churches but is a bit modernised/neater.

I am fairly new to the server but have played endless hours on Inversion Therapy GG servers (which are currently not operating). This was my favourite map in the rotation and would love to have it on DTK!

hi kazuya welcome to the forums ... you can still post map suggestions on the main thread ... also i believe there is a similar map on the server (if not the same)... you should try playing on all our servers

Nice to meet you Shadow and Complex, thanks for your replies! And yes you're right Shadow - there is a similar map called "trs_aim_churches", but the one I've suggested just looks more modern and refined.

There was another popular map too on the iT servers called gg_trains (I can only a find "ka_trains" version which looks identical here http://css.gamebanana.com/maps/79578). Oh and of course gg_fy_funtimes (which I assume is on DTK but have not yet seen it?).

the trains map is on our minigames server, and also funtimes is on the server already

Pretty sure the rotation for gg4 just happened (well the changes have been submitted, they're just not updated yet) but if you have suggestions for the next time, send daillvibe a message on steam

Incorrect. Suggestions for new maps and the removal of old are taken on board by the SA of the server.
I can assure you that there are actually multiple new maps that [SA] Daillvibe has ready to be added to the server, I helped pick a few of them, so your point is invalid.

Pretty sure this is one of the churches map GG4 alternates between already, there is 3 or 4 other churches also. I'd say this one is one of my favorite churches too Hopefully we can see it some time soon

Well summarised, it's just frustrating waiting I guess, that being said the rotation changes is beyond admin control, once they put a list together it gets added to squalls list of things to do

Will also love to see an event happen every now and then just to mix it up, I know events are mainly held to populate servers but we haven't had one in over a year

Gday Kazuya, it's good to see you on the server!

As you may have read from Cuffeh before there is a bit of a hold up on map rotations at the moment so I apologise to everyone for the frustration. Well, everyone except meowman who is a bit of a princess at the best of times

Churches final fixed is probably my fav version of the churches map and it has been in the rotation & will be again.

In the meantime i'll try and apply some thumb screws (beg) to a certain [C] to see if we can get some action/satisfaction
