    Childhood Television

Now personally, I believe that kids growing in the 90's had the best of television, it was at the time where we weren't completely spoiled by tech like Ipads and high speed net so television was our salvation.

I was at my folk's place and turned on Foxtel for the first time in like, what, 3 years? And I checked Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network cause I loved that shit and saw they still ran some old shows I watched when I was 7! Which made me feel all nostalgic.

Here are some of my favorites!

Fresh Prince (1990) was the shit my dad would sit down and laugh at with my cousins and I'd end up watching from a young age, I was 7 when it finished and Will Smith was my hero.. Then came Kenan and Ke (1996), that shit was turnt up man, I would rewatch and just memorize lines from it.

These are my top favorite Cartoons though.

    Other shit includes:
    - X-Men (1992)
    - Spiderman (1994)
    - Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999)
    - Dragonball Z (-2003)
    - Aaahhh!!! Real Monsters (1994)
    - Cow & Chicken (1995)
    - Angry Beavers (1997)
    - Johnny Bravo (1997)'
    - Rugrats (1991)
    - Hey Arnold! (1996)
    - The Proud Family (2001)

Idk, plenty but I can't think of right now! List some of yours here!

P.S: Adventure Time & Regular Show are probably the best Cartoons that have come out from anywhere since the 90's/Early 2000

Ed, Edd and Eddy, all the others I watched were already posted on the first page.

Oh and CODENAME: Kids next door. Atleast thats what I think it was called, with those kids in the treehouse who saved children from adults with names like 1 and 2, now that was a badass cartoon.

Didn't read whole thread so if these have been mentioned already sorry.
I feel like my words have only given way to brief intentions
but no intent for action I've waited, I've asked, I've hoped,
for you to show me I've thought wrong.

Shit, I know this ain't Television, but Basketball was a huge part of my childhood (and that was TV) - when Chicago rained the 90's cause of the Jordan Era.
When Spacejam came out, it was literally the hugest thing in life.. Best childhood film of my life.

That is an awesome intro soundtrack!

Most of the shows I watched as a kid have already been stated - but surprisingly not stuff like Samurai Jack or Sheep in the Big City. I sort of moved from cartoons to "proper" tv shows when I started high school; and funnily enough I actually went backwards in time instead of forwards.
    -Six Billion Dollar Man
-The Virginian/The Men from Shiloh (a decent western-style series)
    -MacGyver

These are just three of the shows I'd watch on tv when I could. I can remember watching The Virginian just before going to school, and having to miss exactly half as I left. I even saw Leonard Nimoy on the western Wagon Train one morning, which didn't hit me until the end of the episode!
Cartoons now? Well, to be frank - they suck. They don't have that...appeal as the 90s did. Now, don't take me as one of those winging "the 90s was the best" type guys (don't get me started on the 80s...) but when it came to cartoons, they were the best. Modern cartoons are just like modern music - occasionally you find a diamond in the rough (Adventure Time would have to be one I'd point out here) but most of it just doesn't cut it. I also remember watching a lot of Marine Boy on Saturdays.

Oh, and I don't think its been said on a previous post but what about Courage the Cowardly Dog? Or the Amanda Show? And - one of my personal favourites - The "Roughnecks"; an animated Starship Troopers series! There's even Tales from the Cryptkeeper.
What is sad is that one day I relived my childhood on youtube by watching tv shows and their intro sequences. Lasted about an hour.

    What about Hey Arnold?
That one was sort of you'd watch it but not really remember it, at least that's how it was with me.
