Spam Forum?

Quick Suggestion to help clean up the amount of unneeded posts etc.

Why not have a spam forum? Basically you have mods of course, but they do not need to intervene and close/infract other forum users within this section because it is somewhat ruleless and entering the 'dark abyss' means you are willing to take on any joking abuse that goes on in there. Of course, if a mod/staff member needs to step in and delete/infract/close threads they can and ofcourse no posting stuff that the rules don't allow.
Also, of course no post count is gained and possibly no rep?
It could help clean up the amount of times a perfectly legit thread goes off topic with gifs, random abuse and what not.
Quite a few forums have this and tbh I think it is a good idea. What are your guys thoughts on this?

The Spam Forum is a relaxation place for many users to come and enjoy. Its the only forum where flaming and spamming are put up with much more then usual. If you can't handle it here, leave and come back when you can.

ALL of the website.somethinghere rules are still in effect EXCEPT for:
Spamming
Flooding the spam forum with threads is not allowed, and will result in a forumban
Gravedigging
Mass gravedigging the spam forum is the same as flooding threads and is not allowed
Flaming¹
Trolling²
¹Whilst we clearly won't infract for use of the word, say, ''idiot'', deliberately making a provocative, derogatory thread about someone may result in an infraction, as will excessive or overly harsh flaming/racism. It sounds like a good idea in theory, but if people can do ANYTHING. Then abuse is pretty much guaranteed. Since there is no one to step in. It'll just keep scaling up and up and up. Until there's death threats, like Daniel did on the fb page lol.

Also the Facebook page is pretty much the spam space.

But if it were to happen I think we should call it:

Sorry comrade, that sounds silly, for new-comers it'll seem as if we're a running a troll forum, which is not what DtK needs.
Every member should be mature enough to control their attitude and actions. If they're not able to abide by DtK rules, then that's their fault.
Staff and/or Council shouldn't create another section in order for idiots to post freely and attack each other.

If I didn't explain myself properly in the OP, I did mean that [S] and mods can step in if anything gets way to serious ofc. Also yes I admit the FB page is trolly goodness atm but quite a few people around here probably don't even have Facebook. But yea, Death threats and similar stuff of course is completely ridiculous and unneeded.

That would just put more stress on staff. It would give them an extra section to monitor. And by the sounds of it, they'd have to have it under close watch, so that it won't get too far out of hand.

People should be able to control themselves but it seems that isn't enough to keep it off the forums. As I said before though, this is a discussion about it, no bad blood is to be had and seeing as most people seem don't particularly like the idea, that's okay :P I just wanted to see the communities feelings about it and maybe spark some ideas.

I'm not really a fan of this idea. If people want to spam or break rules they can do it somewhere else.

Yeah I don't the idea, and I don't think encouraging it (even in its own little spot) is something that would be beneficial to the forums.

I couldn't agree more here with people, I have been a member of many different forum's and I can tell you that once a Spam thread of forum is created and call's for and creat's much more overflow into other forum's because people begin to think what they are posting is not spam
