Hi All!

Just wanted to clarify the permissions of posting content in this section.

Requirements to post
To post content in this section, you must be a part of the development team. It doesn't matter what part of the team you belong to (ie mapping, graphics etc) if you have content to release, release it here.

Conditions of release
If you meet the above requirements and are planning on releasing content, then you will need to include the following information:

• Map information (ie player slots, map type etc)
• Applicable credits (even if it is only you)
• Pictures or video of the release
• Nice on the eyes - if you are creating a post then try and make it professional looking

GameBanana Release
If you are going to publish your content onto GameBanana as a public release, then please be sure to tag it with the DTK Studio tag. This will help get the DTK name out in the developer community.
To do this, you must be a part of the DTK studio http://gamebanana.com/studios/33982 .
Once you are a member, simply click the drop down tab next to the Studio or individual release and select the DTK option.
You will still be able to give yourself full credit if the release is a one man job.

I will post more information as it becomes applicable.

Mmm. I might get a seperate section created for tutorials tbh. I believe there will be a lot of them and we want as little clutter as possible.

Is there a similar platform for tagging DTK in public releases on Sound Cloud for us Music/Sound people?

Is there a similar platform for tagging DTK in public releases on Sound Cloud for us Music/Sound people?

I have never had experience with sound sorry. Gamebanana does have a sounds section though: http://gamebanana.com/sounds if you wanted to create some stand alone stuff for release.

there is a groups section where a group can be created for DTK: http://soundcloud.com/groups/new however depending on what the other Music guys want it may be better to stay in the one place, condidering its a "gaming" community and not just music creators
