Bhop debate

So quite a few people seem pretty butthurt when I bunnyhop to knife them and claim it to be cheating.

So let's get this clear.
For starters, bunnyhopping requires a lot of practise an timing. Not only do you need to jump at the right time, you also need to strafe in order to increase your acceleration, if you don't strafe correctly, you're actually making yourself go slower.

So on a gungame map that is very similar to scoutzknivez, I'm on knife level, my teams full of clueless idiots and the other team have basically surrounded the spawn. And you're telling me bunnyhopping out of my spawn to dodge your primary weapon spraying and knifing you is cheating?

I sense that your inability to bunnyhop and my extraordinary skills are forcing you to find something that you can attempt to bully me against.

So in conclusion, how is bunnyhopping cheating?

Kingeofff bro you need to let your skills do the talking not your sweet lips shouting "im the king" you rub people the wrong way its an insult to those that are better than you you need to earn respect not demand respect. This is only constructive criticism nothing to attack you in any way but to let you know what a lot of people dont like. Personally i dont worry wether you bhop, skip, shoot, fly, do what ever you like within the rules of the game im happy to fight anyone no problem. I am just a bit dissapointed in some of the top players they start to sook as soon as they get knifed or shot, grow up suck it up and move on without whinging. Every day someone abuses me when i knife them or head shoot them too many times or even kill them too many times. You never hear me abusing anyone for knifing me or shooting me too many times. This is what the game is all about isnt it shoot or kill the opposition. We all need to adopt good sportsmanship acknowledge the skills of other players and earn respect as good sports. Its not about whinging its not about attention seeking its not about abusing others its about having a great time and showing great skills in gun game.

Mircan, I'm not sure if you've noticed but I haven't done that in a very long time now. And when I do it's to those who I get a reaction out of. That's the whole point, I spam that I'm the King because I get a reaction by a large amount of people. It's funny how when I spam this message, I get a lot of racist insults and people telling me that I'm going no where in life, but apparently I'm in the wrong. It's funny how one statement causes so much controversy. It doesn't bother me too much because you are just people on the Internet with little relevance to my real life. I do enjoy getting called "a dirty lebo" or getting told that I'm a highschool drop out. I'm neither of those, actually I'm at one of the best uni's in Australia because I worked hard to get into it. But I don't boast about that because I won't get the reaction that's equivalent to this.
At the end of the day, I've caused them to be angry and I've had a good laugh, so we can all see who the true winner is.

I didn't say I never troll. Meowman stated that I was trolling in this thread, which is obviously untrue as I was interested in others opinions on bunnyhopping and was on-topic unlike what the definition said.
So can you please learn to read or perhaps gain a bit of general knowledge and recognize what my posts are in reference to, rather than jumping to conclusions from a sentence I said.

However, you start threads like this one knowing you're going to get these sorts of responses, specifically noting that your intent is to provoke people, then when you are shown that you are in fact a troll you try and justify it with the excuse that you really don't care?

So either you are talking about my behaviour in game
OR you are talking about this thread.

So if you are talking about my behavior in-game then why bring something off-topic into this thread, I believe off-topic discussion is trolling according to the definition you gave me.
If you are talking about this thread, there's no trolling occurring except for that one sentence among the whole paragraph, so I don't know why you're generalizing.

Now what's my purpose of this thread? Well heaps of DtK players claim bhopping to be cheating, I don't have time to explain how it isn't in-game because there's shooting to be done. So this thread explains why and in addition, provides opinions from other DtK members so they can finally stop crying in-game when I bhop to knife them.

Is that enough of an explanation to get it through to your brain?

with the bhopping, i would find it extremely frustrating if it were taken out as a player who can do it averagely like myself. i dont see the point of taking something out of the game because a vast majority cant do it, or wont put in the time to learn how. i feel your pain brutha, keep crackin skulls.

you know what king, sorry to burst your bubble about this thread and all, but i dont think there will be any evidence to suggest bhopping is bad or that it should go. when people say to you "its cheating" and tell you to stop, there a purely just butthurt that you're knifing them and they cant do it back.

I think the main issue is that nobody can really tell whether or not a player is legitimately bhoping or using scripts, in some cases its obvious but others not so much. I guess it makes the question of whether bhoping should be allowed or banned more difficult.
