I dont know the whole story, and I am going to tell you that phrase that I frequently say to you in our team map meetings:
'I dont care'.
Youre a good kid and I think that sometimes you are battered into believing you cant do stuff. I dont care about that.
I get the feeling that you have been told that you are limited because of your age. I dont care about that.
You say you want to help on the map team but you dont quite know how to do any of the stuff. I dont care about that either.

What I focus on, is you as a person and how good you could possibly be at something. Nobody begins their life as an expert in something. People put in good hard work for it. If you come to me and say 'hey TC, I want to help on the map team but havent worked on a map before'. I think to myself, 'Okay, this is great. Lets teach Fillet something new and he could potentially be one of the best or most innovative mappers we have'.

Dont ever under rate yourself. You are a great guy and are at an age where you can unleash all sorts of hobbies and interests, whether it be creating sprays or maps.
