Hey Guys/Gals, I’m here today to gladly inform you all on my not to important achievement, but I may as well use this as an excuse to give a background story and a few shout outs to the ones in need and members overtime which I’ve befriended.
So my journey in DtK began around May last year, the time where I had just re-installed CS:S. I did a search of server’s and random stumbled across DtK #5, which is where my love first started. There I met Fishy, OnebyOne, Dylax, Jimmyshoes and many others. It was around August after three months of nagging and persuading from Dylax, I finally made a forum account. Ohh what a mistake this was (not really).
I got accepted and ohh the joy I had, it was around the time of GG10, jesus the amount I loved that server was unexplainable I was a complete rankwhore back in those days. Sadly about a month or two in, I had lost all interest in CS:S and had a three-month break, I was currently ranked [N] at the time.
After about three months I had randomly re-discovered DtK again, and re-installed CS:S again but this time on a new machine. So I decided I’d try and become a valid member, also during my break somehow I was promoted to [M] which still today I can’t seem to understand why. So I was a good run, but at the time I had no idea’s what to do to contribute to the community, but then….. I stumbled across the idea of making reviews, which is where it all started.
I started reviewing random-everyday products which people seemed to enjoy. After I while, Rev had persuaded me to review “Having a Bat” which somehow was my most successful review of all. Quickly I must thank all who read my reviews and enjoyed them.
At the time, I only enjoyed playing Dust, and nothing else. Then Surf came, and I thought to myself, pfft lame, I suck at it, I’ll stick with Bhop! Jeez, looks like I was wrong, I was a complete dud at first, and then slowly I got better and better. So I realized that I now had a goal, to achieve an admin position on that server, because I thought I’d be a great benefit to the server, which of course I am. So most of my time was dedicated to Surf and suggesting ideas.
One lonely Thursday I was sitting at home doing my homework, when Purple contacted me, if I was interested in an admin position and of course I was. When he said that, I deadest jumped out of my chair in excitement. Then Stig contacted me, and I got ultra-excited on that same night, about 20 minutes after Purple. Then and there, I received my admin and with that, I hope to do the best I can for Surf!
So that’s basically it. Now to what most people actually care about the thank you’s!
[DtK] [C] Squall - Squall without you, I couldn’t see DtK in the same position as it is now, all the hard work, and dedication you’ve put into DtK just blows my mind out! You’ve done it a good job and will obviously continue to!
[DtK] [C] The Stig. - What can I say, mhh let’s see. You have put in hours on end of hard work and dedication to DtK, I can’t see DtK being the same without you. Also you’re a complete legend in-game, even when you’re raging because I’m dominating you but what can you do! You’re an absolute character one of the funniest members, also your quite good looking I mean damn that white helmet, gets all the ladies.
[DtK] [C] F. Krueger - I doubt you’ll see this, but Krueger without you there would be no DtK, the rare occasion I played with you, you were always, a good guy. You put a lot of dedication/time/money into DtK and it has served us all well. You will be missed. I hope to see you back one day.
[DtK] [S] Fishy - Ahh Fishy, I still remember the day of you being a [M], and a [JA] of Dust. You Fishy were a legend and still are, the first time I met you I simply was amazed, I still remember you would always take care of your baby whilst playing CS:S. You put a lot of dedication into Dust and now H’n’S, Fishy you’ve gone really far, and have deserved all of it! I’m very proud of you!
[DtK] [S] $1R FR4G4L0T - Fraggy, fraggy frag, how you doing? Ahh I still remember teaching your girlfriend I few times how to play CS:S ahh the times. Frag you are a great staff member and friend. I very glad to have met you! You’ve put much time and dedication to DtK and it sure has paid off.
[DtK] [S] S15YO 007 - S15 another absolute classic, the day of being in skype and catch that waller, really taught me some basic’s. I must thank you, for the good times on Dust and even GG#4.
[DtK] [S] Tonic - You have also taught me a fair amount, I must thank you for that, also thoroughly enjoy the few times on Dust. You’ve put a lot of time into DtK and especially the forums. You’ve done a lot of work and have gone far. Cheers man!
[DtK] [S] Honoba and [DtK] [S] chibiwind - I don’t know you guys as well, but I sure know you done a lot of hard work, I’d like to thank you guys for everything you’ve done!
[DtK] [SA] -=Boba=F3tt=> - Ahh Boba, congratz on SA, well deserved. I still remember the times of great rage because of your P90 spray. You’ve taught me a fair amount on P90 sprayer pwning, and I’ve greatly enjoyed playing with you on Dust your defiantly a great character, thanks man!
[DtK] [SA] CurlofTheBurl - Who are you? Hehe, the times on surf, trying to beat each other first to finish jalapeno or kiwi, haha and the good old skype sessions gee we had some fun. Thank’s for everything man!
[DtK] [SA] daillvibe - I haven’t played to much with you sadly, but I sure know you’ve put a lot of time in GG#4 and the old conquest you’ve done a lot of hard work, I’d like to thank you for the hard work and dedication you’ve put into DtK. Thanks man!

[DtK] [SA] Mr. Purplicious - Purple I don’t even know where I’d be without you and your so called surf skills (you probably bought them didn’t you). Purple thanks for everything, thanks for the chance’s, thanks for the good times on surf and the ones to come. You’ve finally achieved SA of the server which you will greatly help, congrats man do us all proud. Thanks for everything chief.

[DtK] [SA] Sly Fox - Ahh, Sly Fox, congratz on SA! Well those skype sessions were pretty damn good, and the pug's ohh the pug's we had with the crew were to good! You've put a lot of hard work into Minigames well deserved SA!

[DtK] [JA] Drunk Gamer Dud - The late night sessions on GG#10 were super fun! Man you have greatly affected my play style and other stuff as well. You’re a good guy and admin as well, I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done!
[DtK] [JA] Esperance - Epse finally get’s what he deserves you will do Pug proud, you’ve done me proud! The fun times we had on SM DM, and the ones the come (hopefully), you’re such a relaxed, cool guy to play with and to skype with as well, thanks man for everything!
[DtK] [JA] fred_mackay - Fred, I haven’t gamed to much with you, but the absolute cooliest, chilled guy I’ve met in real life, now your hearts with H’n’S do the server proud and it will do us all proud!
[DtK] [JA] Frendy - Frondy the gfx designer/JB admin and worst player AU, I’m joking your super doper coolness overwhelms me, you’re a absolute JB legend (I think). Thanks for the good SM DM games, dominating Rev, I surely enjoyed them!
[DtK] [JA] gaston - Dust 2 forever my friend, the good times is all I can remember, I sure have enjoyed all of them on dust. Next time your on, I’ll be sure to hop on and knife you!

[DtK] [V] ReNji. - I doubt you’ll read this, but you and your addiction to go flawless in a GG#10 match used to make me laugh endlessly, and all the good times on GG won’t be forgotten.
[DtK] [V] TC_TopCat - Sadly I haven’t gamed to much with you! But I sure do know the amount of advice you’ve given to others not only with computer’s but also in-game and forum behaviour advice. Thank you for all the dedication you’ve put into DtK it surely has helped many others!
[DtK] [T] Angro - Blow your nose man! Also thanks for letting me pretend to be you in a pug everyone raged at you (me) probably the most fun I’ve ever had! Hahaha, and all the good times on surf!
[DtK] [T] FelisCatus - I still remember the carrot even though it was a one off! You’ve taught me much about sexually means which never to be used in practice but sound pretty crazy!

Last but no least – Dylax – Dylax mate, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t even be in DtK I must thank you for that. All the good times we had on GG#10 and Dust will be remembered and cherished for ever, sad to see you go. I hope you come back someday. Best of luck in uni and life <3!
