Removal of Nazi Rule

It has been decided to remove the Nazi rule from the JB server for the time being as not many people actually understands what it means so therefor it is not having the desired effect.

Therefor starting this saturday (23/6) the Nazi rule will no longer be in affect. however this does not mean you can go full nazi (retard) and expect to get away with it. Nazism is a neccessary part of the game however in moderation.

look tomi, something has to change, because people just are not playing JB as much any more. I can't please everyone but I can take action where I seem appropriate to try to brin players back in. Tbh I abhor how JB is ATM because of the lack of fear the Ts have of being shot, therefor they run amuck and no matter how good the CT is, the majority of the time Ts just run off and 'rebel' (I use that term loosely)

I am kind of happy this is gone. With the amount of Ts bhopping about 50 billion metres away from the spray that the CT placed down and when they get shot they complain about the nazi rule. so yeh that this is gone it gives the CTs much more control over the Ts

See this is one of the reasons that people dont understand the rule. If they are bhopping they ARE A DIRECT THREAT, and you CAN SHOOT THEM.

The rule was fine, the players just needed some common sense, sadly that factor seems to be in short supply nowadays.

IMO most CT's understood the rule, you can shoot the bhoppers, but people were afraid of being marked as a nazi for shooting bhoppers which stopped them from killing them. T's would take advantage of the rule by saying your a nazi over anything with the rule in place.

You obviously don't know the definition of a DIRECT threat, how can the rule work if you don't know what direct implies

bhopping around is not threatening unless they are coming straight at you, just bhopping around is definitely not a direct threat

but in this scenario, they are supposed to be on the spray, so in reality, you can shoot them regardless if they are a direct threat or not?

the rule is quite simple to understand, all its pretty much saying is dont be such a ♥♥♥♥nipple with the warden-powers.

A CT may not kill a T unless they are: a direct threat to you, a direct threat to another CT, or are blatantly disregarding orders, except when necessary for a minigame.

People are never happy.

Months ago if I wardened, the Ts would actually be annoyed if I died. These days if I warden, people call me a nazi and I hardly EVER play a proper round.
I havent changed my ways at all, but you guys just dont realise it.

You either want me to let you escape so you can rebel (and kill me) or if I dont let you escape and you get shot for not doing what I said, then you call me a nazi.

The rule was initially put in place to stop people from getting shot during a guncheck if they accidentally hit their jump bind, or their model moved 90 degrees, or for people new to our server who think you should crouch during a guncheck (which is a rule on other servers I think).
If I tell you to freeze on my spray, and you start using your bhop binds to jump around, then its not exactly an accident, is it...

The rule was put in place to try to make the server a lot more relaxed, but now Ts just treat it like a DM server and I dont even see the necessity of CTs having a requirement to give orders. CTs might as well just say nothing, open the cells, let the T's rush at them screaming freeday, and then CTs just open fire and hope for the best until the round is over.
