    RAGE SMOKE NADES RAGE... QQ...

    Ok, trollface aside..

    Just wondering if you guys could offer some advice?
    I normally sit at about 100+ fps on full settings, but whenever I run through/near a smoke nade it drops to about 20, and about 3fps if the servers busy.
    What would be the optimum settings to get rid of the lag with the smokes, but still keeping it tops everywhere else?

    Any suggestions would be great

    I have the same problem, and have had it for many years. i dont know anything to fix it, any help would be cool.

    Disable anti-aliasing if you have it on, it is really taxing when lots of particles are present (like smoke)

    Unsure if it'll work, but try googling for a recent FPS config (cfg). May or may not work with smokes.

    Just go get x22 and turn smokes off all together. Hit edszke or iMpact up.
