    Wink Testers needed for GunGame map!

    Hey all.

    I've finsihed my GunGame map and I'm uploading it now. I'm asking for some people to test it, go through it thoroughly and check if there are any bugs, glitches, etc that I may have not seen. The map is called gg_fortification. It's a fairly small sized map with 2 levels, and 2 underground water passages leading to the pool. I also need people to give me some feedback. I figured that if I post this thread here (in the Community section), I'd get more people viewing it rather than the Mapping section.

    Ima download now and take it for a spin, will edit this/repost when i have any (if at all) feedback

    EDIT.

    Ima be Really picky with 2 things,

    1) - the ladders to get onto the second level is touching the other one, try maybe dragging it down into the ground, otherwise not so major

    2) - The props on the second level, i like your choice. but try and organise them abit more, and make them fit in, it sorta looks like they dont really have a purpose for being there and are just really outta the general feel of the map, perhaps make it so it looks on the top as if its being constructed some more, with bags of cement and what have you lying around.

    Thats all i could find, had a good lol @ wacks song

    I will do the same as frendy in hopes of it being put on sm dm .

    EDIT:

    As frendy mentioned, I also found the props up on the second floor to be out of place, if you were trying to give the players a better place to hide when up top it really didnt seem necessary, the cover was sufficient enough as it is without the props.

    Also both the blue dumpster props were dealing damage to a player if they jumped in them, but im guessing thats a feature you added in and not a glitch?

    I just realised you can get on top/side of the map by jumping off one of the pedestals (I can show you later, when you put your server up)

    Secret song was pretty good, would be a fun map to play I think.

    I tested the map,
    Flirt, i assume you are gonna put this map in the nilla section aye ?

    As Frenchy said, the ladders, going up, NP. going down, gotta fix that up a bit.
    On the base floor ? (outside) the wooden boxes, two in the middle, on both sides are unnecessary imo. just too much cover for people.
    Top floor, those orange crates. No need for 'em as there are already protection blocks from the 'castle wall'. (whatever you call em)
    In spawn, the ramp. You might wanna extend em longer because there are spawn campers and it'll be easy for them to camp with the help of the rubbish bins.
    also, the ramp is missing a bit of water at the end = causing a little jump.

    IDEA: for the ramp, perhaps you can make a split before entering enemies' spawn.
    so if there are spawn campers, they will have to have both ends watched.

    Yeah I made the blue dumpsters deal damage to the players, so no one could hide in them.
    As for the jumping on top of the sides of the map, that was something I became aware about just after I released the beta. >.< I will fix that in the next version.

    I'd personally give the grates in spawn a little more health, just to make it so you have to make a POINT of breaking them.
    It would be cool if the top level's blocks on the roof could be mirrored either side and then extend the top of the waterfall so that you could make a mad dash for the other roof over it? That'd make it pretty frantic and would make being on the roof almost a necessity.
