The return of bhop

OK peeps, I tried running the server with no bhop for a while to see what the general response would be and it was mixed.

It was hard to see a positive or negative effect on the server's population so I have decided to put it back on (with the help of the enigmatic Squall of course ).

So now I will watch again the response. Will the bhoppers flock to the server to bring unprecedented numbers? Or will the anti-bhoppers - realising how good they had it now that they lost it (like the love of a good woman heh) finally appreciate my trial and grow a voice??

By the way, has there been a vote-thread on the matter? It might be a better idea on gauging
popular opinion on the validity of BHopping without the bitchiness. Just an idea

There was a vote on it and it got put back into the server, the problem is they didn't put bhop back to it's original settings so its incredibly difficult to do it consistently

The time for discussing BHop was when it was suspended, pending review and discussion.

Bhop should just be set back to 100 as it certainly was more fun having them jumping around in the maps than it is now. I think most people will agree the advantage is still clearly with those who are shooting rather than knifing.

Ever since i first started playing gungame about 2-3 years ago, Bunnyhopping has always been part of the MOD. Why change it? it makes no sense.
And everyone complaining saying bunnyhop shouldn't be allowed is either jealous that they can't do it themselves, or angry because they can't hit a moving target...

OK I think the thread has just about lived out it's natural life now, there may be an increase in the air accelerate at some stage after some discussion with Council but for now i'ma close this thread because the hate to helpfull post ratio.... Not good.
