Hi All,

Just wondering if there are any rules about giving out hiding spots of the enemy?

For example if someone is hiding in a particular location and he/she kills me can i give out their hiding spot on mic to other team mates

People rage and swear so hard after that,

just wondering if giving out information is fine or not

and what do people think about this in general

imagine a player on knife hiding somewhere you give out his/her position they get knifed lol...but at the same time they have an opportunity i guess

i suppose you get respawn like in a second and most maps arent too big and with over 30 ppl on the server well it makes it easier to get the enemy

If it's gg DM than it's ok :P but if it's gg nilla and it's got rounds than is a big no no.

If there's a sneaky bastard in the same spot for most of the game sure, tell people about it.

But as a one off, its in your best interest to say nothing and go and kill them yourself considering you know where they are.

mic chat is heard by both teams on gg4 do i don't see what the problem is.

If people want to rage about their camping spot being made public by ways of announcing over the mic, it's their own problem ... it doesn't actually effect the game play so much IMO ... it's their own faults for camping in the first place.

lol i got called a f***k**g C**t for doing that....theres been a lot of angry people on here off late

its all about the points eh

people should reflect back and be like its only a game so what if u loose 1 game for wteva reason lol

You got a mic use it! It is not cheating when you give away campers and generaly command a strategy, if some one gets upset just ignore them, besides every time you use the mic you give away your position I think that was design to balance the advantage of having mic anyway! It is only the Noobs who will get upset coz ether they don't have a mic or just they are NOOBs! lol

you gotta love the rage...i still give out their positions and its epic if they do get knifed

Lets face it, the only time calling out a persons position is of any use is on the few maps like fy_snow where the enemy can go around the side of your spawn and end up behind your spawn.

At which point everyone is like "behind us" on the mic. Any other time people call a position out in a "camping" spot is a complete waste of time because the person is usually dead already and no one cares enough to think 'hey wow i'ma go over there now' because you would get shot before you can walk for 3 seconds anyway.

I'm assuming it can only be of the slightest relevance late at night when there are only a few people on....

personally i just say general locations. I wouldn't say "get big del hes hiding behind the 5th box on the left" I'd just say "cmon t's on the left!"
