Solve these issues.

1. Maps never load "missing map files- gotta download files manually which is irritating.
2. Lag spikes by the end of the map.
3. Error signs with players models.
4. Whenever I press connect it just downloads all files "including music and models" which will take ages and the server will change level while I'm downloading so in another words i need to be lucky enough to download everything prior new map change! ==> too many files?? my connection is decent ADSL2+ which gets me 600kb/s downstream!

does this happen all the time? or only when the server is very busy?

Might be worth making sure 3rd party downloads are enabled, that should fix the "error"s issue you see in game as your client is not downloading those textures. It should also mean you only download a map once. Cant remember if its an in game or in steam option, but its in one of them.

this is happening to everybody man, its cause apparently the DtK Fast DL loader or something is down...

Currently our host is having issues, which affects all of our servers as well as SB and the fast d/l server. Your problem could be caused by anything but it's probably best to wait until these issues are sorted out before you start pulling your hair out about this as the host issues could likely be the root cause of the problem, squall made a post about these issues a little while ago and he will keep us up to date of any progress.

I'd be happy with just solving this. The server drops very regularly... none of the other servers I play on do this. It's a shame because I like playing here the best but the server is BY FAR the most useless. It means that every time there's a good game going and the server goes down for half an hour everyone leaves and it takes forever to get it going again.
