I don't want to sound like a douche acting as if i am better then everyone else but seriously, Most children my age are just bloody idiots, in many ways. They're not just academically challenged, the choices these children make are terrible, the other day I was outcasted by my classmates because I have never been drunk... Come one.

You’re not a douche. There needs to be more people with your morals in society. Don’t let dropkicks like that bring you down to their level, the only reason they say immature comments is because they don’t know any better. Stick to your morals and you'll eventually have a lot more than just health and success, something that unfortunately people with that sort of negative and destructive attitude and mentality may never accomplish.

By the way, just curious, how old are you?

Hey mate, don't let that get to you.. In high school I was a bit of an outcast because i chose to study rather than do stupid shit with those dull minded individuals! But mate look at me now I'm loving life at uni nice gf and lot's of friends; hang in there mate it all changed once you move on in life.. Watch those morons suffer working here and there like dogs !

Utensils who are you to call people idiots. Just coz you haven't been drunk doesnt make you any more or less cooler/smarter than them.

I go out, drink, taken drugs, smashed strangers, had random sex with girls, played css for countless hours, play state basketball. But im still doing a double degree of Stuctural Engineering and Physics in 4th year uni and got an ATAR of 98. My choices have been my own and not infulence people. Maybe the poeple you call your "Friends" you should choose more wisely next time.

Since they can't drink at anyones house cause there all 15 n shit.

People like you actually make the situation worse, going around making poeple seem like godz because they didn't have a drink, or saints when they finish highschool. Everyone takes different paths in life who the ♥♥♥♥ are you to call someone a dropkick becuse they have a drink. Open your eyes. I'd like to see another engineer in this thread, some of the smartest poeple I know, yet we also party and enjoy life a tonne. According to your theory that's impossible.....

Not sure where you got that info from, but minors can consume alcohol on a private residence with no penalty to either party if theres no trespassing.
So you can be 10 years old... at your parents place... with your 10 year old friends around... all getting hammered on whatever trendy ready-to-drink beverage you have at the time... and if the cops show up- nothing can happen.

And in the end, you still can "live life", tak 168 hours for example ( 1 wk ) why not study for 3 hours a day, which comes to 21 hours a week which then makes your week 147 hours......

is that not enough time to "live life"?

EDIT: I knew a chick in year 12 who basically was a ♥♥♥♥en genius, she told me when she finishes her HSC she is going to go clubbing every night get drunk and have sex every night........

Formal education will make you a living, self education will make you a fortune.

I hold this quote very close to me as it is how I live my life.

High school means nothing. You spend 5 years there and at the end you get a piece of paper which basically says I am as smart as the general population.

I quit high school in first term yr 11 while failing every subject. At the time I was getting drunk every weekend and every couple weekdays as I didn't really care. I decided I needed some more money so I put in an application for a 12 month contract at a government office doing admin work. Got the job and within 2 months I was promoted to the point where I was earning more then the principal of the high school I was failing at.

All I am saying is you see people that spend 4-6 years at uni to get some certificate and at the end they are left with nothing but a piece of paper and a huge debt to pay if they haven't saved for it prior. Sure that piece of paper "Might" help you get a job but it won't guarentee it. I was offered the permanent position I am in now a month before finishing my 12 month contract I applied for and I was given the position over 5400 other applicants of which 83% had a certificate 4 or higher. The simple answer is that life skills gained through socialising (partying is a good one) are often more sought after then a qualification.

Not true. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs both dropped out of thei education before finishing. Bill Gates was known to be a big drinker while Steve Jobs is known fo taking LSD a lot but both of these drop outs have made it to the top of the world.

I know kids can drink on a private residence.
But not every 10-15 yr old kid has a private residence to drink at.
So they hang out at maccas.
And tell there parents that there staying at some friends house because they have to be in bed by 8:30 so there breaking curfew cause there rebel.
